Goodnight Vienna

Vienna left indelible impression mainly because of its restaurants and easy-going atmosphere.

In viennese restaurants food is first. Not cheap glamour, table-cloths, waiters but food which is perfect. A good example for the rest of the World.

Viennese subway is strange. Imagine a big ditch with rails on its bottom. This is a "tunnel" of the subway. But sometimes it is rather pretty: you can find the amout of spent money in Vienna from the beginning of the year, the realtime computation of the Pi digits,

or even the quantity of days should pass before human can leave near Chernobyl again (Austrian point of view completely differs from Belarusian one).

Nice surprises are everywhere. This is just a boiler-house.

Schönbrunn Palace is big and beatiful.

The only disadvantage of such a habitation is lots of garden work.

The park behind the palace is surrounded by splendid sculptures

and has amazing flower compositions.

Unfortunately, not in winter. Nevertheless, empty paths are very good for walking and thinking.

The way to the top of the St. Stephen's Cathedral is not so easy (>100 meters). But the way to Berlin was much harder.

In a small city of Eisenstadt you can also find marvellous parks but without any tourists.

In Burgenland state you can find some family wineries. The amount of the wine produced there is not so big and it is not as well-known as, for example, Bordeaux from France or Rioja from Spain.

But since the winery is small and is run by a family the quality and production control are of high level.

Excellent Menitz wine, the gift from the future owner of the winery, became a good ending of a trip to Vienna.
