A live album "Return of the Champions" (link), recorded in 2005 by Queen and Paul Rodgers, turned out to be really spectacular. I didn't think it's possible to perform Queen's songs so startling without Freddie Mercury. A characteristic example is an album "Five Live" with George Michael and Lisa Stansfield (link). Unlike George Michael, Paul Rodgers has sung perfect. He neither tried to reproduce Freddie's style totally, nor made the songs sound entirely different.
